About Liezl Shnookal

Liezl Shnookal is a contemporary Australian author, with a life-long passion for writing novels and short stories. Residing on acreage near Naarm / Melbourne, she draws inspiration from her surroundings and experiences to create compelling stories about a variety of issues.

An extraordinary storyteller, Liezl Shnookal creates engaging characters and gripping plots that keep her readers completely spellbound, from the very first chapter. Her latest novels are Nikki vs Jess and Off Track (second edition). Her collection of short stories, Fiddling While Rome Burns, is also available.

Liezl Shnookal has taught Creative Writing at Victoria University and earned a Master of Arts from Monash University for her thesis on the praxis of writing fiction. She has a double major in English as part of her Bachelor of Arts degree at La Trobe University.
